  1. Annual Night On The Town (Dec. 7 @ 6PM): Beaufort’s official kickoff to the holiday season where downtown shuts down, shops stay open late with special treats, the City of Beaufort lights up the big Christmas tree and food vendors, entertainers and more come out to celebrate the Christmas spirit—Lowcountry style.

  2. Light Up The Night Christmas Boat Parade (Dec. 8 @ 5PM): Perch up at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park for the best views of Beaufortonian’s boats filled with beautiful lights and décor. Sip hot chocolate and watch the Beaufort river come to Christmas life.

  3. Sea Island Holiday Celebration (Dec. 7-9): Celebrate the rich beauty of the Gullah heritage at the Sea Island Holiday Celebration all weekend long. Full of Gullah festivities from the Gullah Kinfolk Christmas Wish performance to the Gullah Reconstruction Tours, A Taste of Gullah Christmas Buffet and more, it’s a great way to kick off the holiday season, the Gullah way.

  4. Beaufort’s Annual Christmas Parade (Dec. 9 @ 3PM): The perfect family event to enjoy the sound of marching bands, the cheering on of decorated floats and “ho, ho, hos” from a special appearance of the big jolly man himself!

  5. The Beaufort Symphony Orchestra’s Home For The Holidays (Dec. 13-16): If you’re a lover of classical music and symphony orchestra’s you’ll love Beaufort Symphony Orchestra’s Home for the Holidays program. A Bach Concerto for Two Violins, Frederick and Katie Devyatkin soloists and holiday pops will be presented. Visit their website for the different times and dates.

  6. Wreath Across America Ceremony (Dec. 15 @ noon): Remember the fallen and honor the ones who serve by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.
