Fresh Produce from Outskirts of Town

22. Fresh Produce from Outskirts of Town

Considering Beaufort’s long agricultural history, it makes perfect sense that there would be several local produce stands throughout the area with plenty of fresh tomatoes, South Carolina peaches, local watermelon, lots of other produce and specialty items in constant abundance. Why not pair your produce with your freshly caught seafood? You will find these stands scattered throughout the county, especially along Route 21, and it’s hard to go wrong with any of them.

Local Farms:

Dempsey Farms

Barefoot Farms

Pasture Shed Farms

Our local produce farms also sell year round at the Port Royal Farmers Market! Rain or shine, from 9am - 12pm, you can find what you're looking for! Of course, it has to be in season. Check out the vendors and learn about the only farmers market in town here: https://www.portroyalfarmersmarket.com/
