The Lowcountry Etuarium is a learning center designed to provide
hands-on learning about the coastal environments of our beautiful

ARTworks is a creativity machine: concerts and plays in the
theater; artists working in their viewable studios; gallery shows
throughout the year, hands-on workshops; and the offices of the
Arts Council of Beaufort, Port Royal, and the Sea Islands.
The 12,000 square foot space is free to browse, and contains an
info station with brochures and maps leading to more local artists.
Strings-n-Things music shop is also here. Check their ArtSeenSC
calendar for events, and visit the website for a link to their arts
& travel app for iPhones and iPads.
ARTworks is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1991. Its mission
is to apply the many creative tools of The Arts to strengthen
artists and to enrich audiences, collectors, and visitors through
high quality arts experiences and arts education programs 365 days
a year.
