Crabbing

14. Crabbing

One of the best things about visiting the coast is having the access and ability to catch dinner! There’s nothing better than fresh caught seafood - and knowing you harvested it yourself is all the more satisfying. There are several different ways to crab. The easiest is simply baiting and throwing a crab pot in the water, waiting for a few hours, and then hauling in what you’ve caught. However, if you're patient and need a recreational activity, you can try catching them along the shore with a baited line and net. This takes a little more practice but can be loads of fun and that much more rewarding. Not only are crabs absolutely delicious but it’s a fun way to spend time with those you love.
