Chocolate Tree

28. Chocolate Tree

Tom Hanks loves Chocolate Tree sweets and everyone else agrees it is the best! The Chocolate Tree is one of Beaufort’s gems and was the creator of the iconic “box of chocolates” in the blockbuster hit, Forrest Gump. Once you have a taste for yourself, you will see why. They have something for just about everyone and make delicious treats in-house and daily, including caramel apples, fudge, chocolate, and more! The Chocolate Tree is located conveniently downtown at 507 Carteret Street.
